You only need to make one application for a Lund University Global Scholarship, regardless of how many programmes you have applied to in the same application round.
Who can apply: The scholarship is only available to non-EU/EEA citizens who are required to pay tuition fees. Furthermore, only non-EU/EEA citizens who have completed an application for studies at Lund University and paid the application fee (if applicable) before the deadline at www.universityadmissions.se, can apply for this scholarship.
Scholarship awards: This is a tuition scholarship - partial or full tuition fee costs may be covered. No living costs are covered.
Merit-based: This scholarship is based on academic merits and a clear motivation to study at Lund University.
What to prepare: You need to write a scholarship motivation letter (maximum 600 words, PDF file) to submit your application.
Please note that the scholarship motivation letter is different from any statement of purpose you may be required to submit as part of your programme-specific application documents. Your scholarship motivation letter should explain why your academic performance and reasons for applying to Lund University make you a suitable potential recipient for a Lund University Global Scholarship.
Login details: You need your www.universityadmissions.se application number, and the email address you used when you submitted your application to www.universityadmissions.se. Please note that the email address is case-sensitive (it has to be written EXACTLY as it is written into the system at www.universityadmissions.se).
Check your application: Once you have submitted your scholarship application, you can review it and check that your scholarship motivation letter was uploaded by logging back into the system. It is also possible to change your application if necessary. You simply submit a new application and the previous version will be removed automatically.
Deadline to apply: Tuesday 15 February 2022 (midnight CET).
Scholarship recipients will be contacted directly by Lund University after the official admission results for studies have been published at www.universityadmissions.se.
